Booking & Payment

The first step is simply to tell us what you have in mind. Use the inquiry form on the site or write to us directly. Helpful details include your travel dates or rough time frame, how many people are travelling, the regions or experiences that interest you most, and roughly the level of comfort you prefer. There is no commitment at this stage and no payment is taken on the website.

Based on your inquiry we put together a personal itinerary suggestion: a realistic route, suggested duration, and the kind of accommodation, transport and guiding that fits your trip. Mongolia is vast and travel times are long, so we plan distances honestly, for example around 6 to 7 hours' drive between some destinations. You then receive a clear written quote outlining what is covered, and we are happy to adjust the plan until it feels right.

Once you are happy with the route and the quote, we confirm the final details together by email, WhatsApp or Telegram. This is the moment to fix dates, pin down any seasonal highlights such as Naadam (11 to 13 July) or Tsagaan Sar, and finalise group size, pickup arrangements and special requests. We keep everything in writing so you always have a clear record of what has been agreed.

Because the site is information-only, all payment is handled directly between you and us, not through this website. After your trip is confirmed, we explain the available payment options and the timing in writing. As a general rule a deposit secures your booking and reserves services such as ger camps, domestic flights and guides, with the remaining balance settled before or at the start of your journey. The exact terms are always confirmed for your specific trip before any payment is made.

Each quote spells out exactly what is included, and this varies with the trip. As a guide, our tailored journeys usually cover private transport with a driver, an English-speaking guide, accommodation along the route, and the activities described in your itinerary. International flights to and from Mongolia, travel insurance, visa costs where applicable, personal expenses and optional extras are normally not included unless we state otherwise in your quote.

Plans sometimes change, and we try to stay flexible. Small adjustments to a confirmed itinerary can often be made if you let us know in good time, although changes that affect pre-booked services such as flights or remote camps may carry costs from our suppliers. Cancellation terms depend on how far in advance you cancel and what has already been reserved; we set these out clearly in writing before you confirm, so there are no surprises.
