DAY 1: TO GUN GALUUT
A.m. Pick up at your hotel in Ulaanbaatar and drive ,when out of the city three hours, to Gun Galuut. En route we will stop by at Ikh Gun Nuur (Big Deep Lake) and Aygan Nuur (Cup Lake). There is a chance to see some endangered bird species such as heron, stork, Siberian crane, hooded crane and many more. But note that in the winter time there might be only few carnivorous birds. We’ll arrive at the camp on lunch time. After lunch you can visit local nomadic family to see and experience the everyday nomadic life. There’s a chance to ride a horse if requested. You can either hike or have a ride back to the camp.
DAY 2: GUN GALUUT
Today we’ll have an excursion to Baits Mountains which is 5 km away from the camp to see the Argali sheep, rare birds and other wildlife. You can either hike or drive to the mountains and back to the camp. At Gun Galuut there are over 200 Argali sheep which live in herds. Argali are considered an endangered species mainly due to habitat loss from overgrazing of domestic sheep and hunting.
DAY 3: TO ULAANBAATAR
After breakfast drive back to Ulaanbaatar city.

This tour is supported by a jeep or minibus depending on the number of travelers.
We stay in Ger (your) Camps for the duration of this trip. These permanent camps are equipped with a restaurant and shared bathroom and shower blocks.
An English-speaking Mongolian guide will accompany you at all times. Other language guides such as Russian, French, German, Italian, Korean etc. available at additional cost, upon request.
The meals will be provided in the ger camps, or as picnic lunches.
We can organize hotel accommodation, city tours and transfers in Ulaanbaatar.
